is the first and only bimetallic coin issued by the United States Mint. The coin is composed of a platinum center surrounded by a golden ring. The coin depicts the hand of Minerva raising a torch over the dome of the Jefferson building. The uncirculated version of the coin had a mintage of only
7,261 and is considered rare. The proof version of the coin had a mintage of
